Channel 9 living it up in the Bay
Glen and the Postcards crew took in the Iconic Great Ocean Road before dropping in to Hello Coffee to see what we have been up to. They managed to try out most of our menu during their stay in town and really enjoyed the laid back seaside lifestyle that we are about.
The Geelong Advertiser drops into Hello Coffee
Our cafe has gone from a shed to a comfortable place to eat, drink, chat and chill out. The relaxed atmosphere suits the local tradie, small business operators and tourists a like. In winter we stoke up the fireplace and ready the newspapers and magazines to create a perfect hideaway. In the warmer weather we love to slide open the massive side door and let the sunshine stream in. With fresh crumpets, danishes and bikkies to snack on or try our popular smoked & pulled pork roll – you won’t want to move from the spot. We are foodies at heart and everything is made on site daily. Just like our coffee, fresh is best!
There is a fantastic kids play area that suits the creative kids, kids that love books, cars or building things. We even have some old-fashioned board game fun for everyone to enjoy. A friendly battle of snakes and ladders or a brain twisting memory challenge await.
If you need to check in with the outside world our FREE WIFI will help you do just that. Join our network and grab the password from the sign on the front counter.
We’ve recently been putting our green thumbs to work, creating some garden beds around the cafe and planting some apple trees! Thanks to The wonderful Holly Mundy for the inspiration. We love fresh local produce and are lucky enough to get lots of rain and sunshine so fingers crossed our first harvest won’t be too far away.
Recently we were lucky enough for the lovely team at the Geelong Advertiser to come to our cafe and experience the great food and relaxed atmosphere we have to offer. This is their take on what we are about:
